Module 2 assisted me in
Understanding Ontario math curriculum of grade 11 and 12
Connecting big ideas with overall and specific expectations
Creating unit of study
Planning of inclusivity and equitable practices for Black, Indigenous and Racialized students
Thinking of responsibilities of teacher and students in 3-part lesson plan Planning math conversations to improve students’ participation
Getting well versed with Ministry of Education’s vision for education
Knowledge of using technology and tools to support pedagogical practices
During COVID year, I learnt incorporating technology in teaching but now I am learning more about using technology for assessment. I learnt creating websites and using Canva for presentations and for creating poster which can be used as a tool for visual learner. After module 2, I am more confident in designing unit of study and incorporating assessments in the lessons.
